Flowers in Mexico
is a pepitagraphics / Aron

book

Flowers in Mexico brings together all the different ways in which flowers are important and useful in our lives. It takes children from the practical uses of flowers to the festivities and seasons where they bring gifts of colors, smells and tastes, help us mark time and show affection. Looking at flowers in this way makes us look at all of nature and its wondrous beauty and richness. An Aztec poem which talks about the interconnectedness of all living beings helps make a call for the protection of natural spaces. Finally, thematic teaching activities provide numerous ideas for teachers and parents who wish to explore the world of flowers with the children.
